The role involves reviewing clarity, grammar, structure, and tone; identifying AI-generated text; collaborating remotely; and providing analyses to support AI model training datasets.
Responsibilities
- Assess the clarity, coherence, and accuracy of written content to ensure it meets project standards
- Conduct detailed writing evaluations, providing constructive feedback for continual improvement
- Identify and annotate AI-generated content, focusing on detecting AI slop or low-quality, artificial text elements
- Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, and tone, maintaining high-level English proficiency throughout
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, offering actionable editorial insights
- Contribute written analyses and recommendations to enhance the overall effectiveness of AI model training datasets
- Complete assignments within defined project timelines, ensuring consistency and reliability in deliverables
Skills
- Proven experience in writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents
- Bachelor s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field; or prior experience teaching English
- Native-level proficiency in English, with exceptional attention to detail in both written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to discern nuances between human and AI-generated text
- Prior involvement in projects requiring content assessments, editorial reviews, or quality assurance
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to work independently in a remote engagement
