[Remote] Copy Of Strategic Account Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SimuTech Group provides technical expertise and services for Ansys simulation software customers. The Strategic Account Engineer advises strategic customers, supports adoption and expansion of simulation solutions, and delivers technical engagements in collaboration with account and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned strategic accounts
• Develop trusted relationships with engineering, technical, and executive stakeholders
• Analyze customer workflows, business objectives, and technical challenges to identify opportunities for improvement
• Partner with Strategic Account Managers to develop and execute account-specific technical strategies
• Support long-term account development through structured technical planning and engagement
• Guide customers through deployment and adoption of Ansys simulation solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand simulation usage across engineering teams and business units
• Define and track success metrics that demonstrate customer value and business impact
• Document technical engagement activities and ensure effective follow-through on action items
• Support account expansion efforts through technical expertise and customer advocacy
• Deliver technical presentations, software demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions
• Consult with customers on simulation best practices, workflows, and implementation strategies
• Assess customer environments and recommend scalable technical solutions
• Help customers align simulation initiatives with broader business goals
• Partner with consulting, support, training, and presales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Support account-based marketing and technical outreach initiatives
• Collaborate internally to align customer needs with SimuTech service and solution offerings
• Share customer insights and industry trends to support organizational growth

Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience
• Experience using Ansys or similar CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM software solutions
• Strong understanding of simulation technologies and their application across engineering disciplines
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong customer-facing presentation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to connect technical solutions to customer business objectives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer engagements simultaneously
• Experience collaborating effectively with sales, consulting, support, and engineering teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
