Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OpenTrain AI is recruiting practicing corporate lawyers for part-time work supporting the training and evaluation of legal AI systems. The role involves reviewing legal documents, assessing AI reasoning and drafting, and annotating legal datasets with detailed feedback.
Responsibilities
- Assess corporate deal documents covering mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
- Evaluate briefs and other commercial litigation documents, then flag the governing legal principles and procedural issues
- Explain the legal reasoning and give detailed feedback on scenario assessments and drafting approaches
- Annotate legal datasets, then check the work against project rubrics for accuracy, clarity and compliance
Skills
- Hold an active United States license to practice law and demonstrate professional fluency in English
- Bring recent experience from a top-tier BigLaw firm, either in your current role or during the last three years
- Bring substantive corporate law experience covering mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets, plus expertise in commercial litigation, high-value transactions and complex agreements
