[Remote] Corporate Vice President, Senior Investment Solutions Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New York Life is a financial services company whose Agency distribution system supports agents in building lifelong client relationships and financial security. The Senior Investment Solutions Consultant partners with an Investment Solutions Consultant to achieve territory and office investment sales objectives, provide product and technical guidance, and support agents through presentations, case design, and relationship development.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the ISC, work closely with agents who are part of a captive agency sales force to develop and maintain strong business relationships
• Deliver a strong command of New York Life’s life investment products and sales processes
• Provide case development and design support
• Introduce new product enhancements to field management and agents with particular emphasis on individual and business needs, markets, and tax issues of investment products
• Deliver sales presentations to both agents and clients
• Provide sales support and product information through individual face-to-face meetings as well as large group sessions
• Proactively work with management

Skills

• And/or equivalent experience
• Motivated and energetic individual with the ability to drive objectives relatively autonomously
• Minimum 5 years of wholesaling experience in Investment products
• A broad and comprehensive knowledge of the Investment business, an understanding of the sales process and the dynamics of selling investment products
• Industry recognized designations such as RICP, CFP, FSCP are highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
• Life license, Series 6 or Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 or 66 registrations
• Understanding of Advanced Markets, a plus
• Frequent travel is required, typically 50%; potentially up to 100% of the time
• Qualified Candidate will be required to live in the Zone area and be willing to travel at least 50% of the time
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
