[Remote] Customer Service Consultant -Henderson (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CarMax is hiring a Customer Service Consultant Trainee to connect customers’ at-home and in-store car-buying experiences. The role responds to customer inquiries, recommends vehicles, supports customers through purchasing and delivery, and meets sales targets while providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Connect with inbound customers online and over the phone to find out what they want and need from their next car purchase
• Use your knowledge of the CarMax inventory to guide customers towards vehicles that meet their needs
• Guide customers every step of the way, from online sales or appraisal to arranging finance applications and scheduling vehicle delivery
• Ensure a seamless transition from online to in-store purchasing to provide an unrivaled customer service experience
• Mentor others as your skillset expands
• Achieve sales targets while providing an iconic customer experience
• Acquire the Automotive Sales Persons License in specific states – may require testing and travel as some states request physical presence to apply for the license

• Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.
• Full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates can earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year, accrued on a per-pay-period basis.
• Full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates receive between 80 and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90-day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service with the Company.
• Full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates receive 8 hours of pay for each of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year, plus 1 floating holiday.
• Full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates who work on a scheduled holiday due to business need are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.
• Full-time salaried associates are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and floating holiday, subject to manager approval.
