Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Equaryon is hiring a Data Analyst Intern to build datasets, dashboards, and analyses supporting advisory and research teams. The role helps inform transactions and client dialogue through data sourcing, maintenance, visualization, and quality checks.
Responsibilities
- Source and normalise financial, market and company data from filings, APIs and databases
- Maintain comps and transaction datasets; automate updates using Excel, Python or SQL
- Build lightweight dashboards and charts for client materials (Excel/Sheets or a BI tool)
- Run quality checks on data and document assumptions, definitions and lineage
Skills
- Undergraduate or graduate student in finance, economics, data science, engineering or related fields
- Strong Excel/Sheets skills
- Comfort working with financial statements and large CSV/Excel datasets
- Detail‑oriented with a habit of documenting steps and definitions
- Clear visual communicator who can structure charts and tables for non‑technical audiences
- Curious, pragmatic and comfortable iterating on feedback
- Familiarity with SQL and/or Python a plus
