Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zeektek is seeking two self-driven Senior Data Engineers to support a larger platform sunset initiative. The role focuses on migrating legacy ABS data into the Facets claims system by designing scalable ETL pipelines with Python, AWS Glue, and PySpark, while independently troubleshooting issues and using AI-assisted development tools to deliver production-quality code.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark
- Build scalable, efficient data extraction and transformation solutions sourcing from a Neo4j graph database
- Migrate legacy data into the Facets claims platform in support of a system sunset
- Use AI-assisted development tools to deliver production-quality code. This is a key performance measure
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and data issues independently
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of data engineering experience (hard disqualifier below 4 years; see Flag 1)
- Strong Python
- Hands-on AWS Glue
- Hands-on PySpark
- Healthcare payer, Facets, or provider data experience
- Neo4j or graph database experience (pending Flag 2)
- Track record of working autonomously with minimal hand-holding
