[Remote] Data Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 4 Corner Resources is hiring Data Engineers for a leading healthcare organization. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, architectures, and integration workflows while supporting production systems and improving data reliability, efficiency, and quality. The Data Engineer will also collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data acquisition, integration, and migration workflows
• Design and implement data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction processes
• Support production data pipelines with a focus on stability and fast issue resolution
• Develop, test, and maintain data architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions

Skills

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Strong Java or Python skills
• Working knowledge of Big Data systems, automation, and security
• Production cloud experience
• Advanced SQL skills
• Working knowledge of AWS
• Hands-on PySpark experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must reside in the following states: AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MS, NC, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NY, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field
• Experience leading data transformation initiatives from on-premise to cloud, ideally in a healthcare setting
• Experience working in an Agile environment as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on AWS experience with Redshift, Spectrum, and S3
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry or provider-sponsored health insurance systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
