Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bart & Associates is seeking a Database Administrator – Microsoft SQL to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s Enterprise Database Infrastructure Support Services. The role administers, secures, maintains, and tunes SQL Server databases and enterprise database platforms.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, secure and tune SQL Server databases and enterprise database platforms
- Manage SQL Server Agent, Database Mail, Dynamic Management Views, patching, STIGs and IAVAs, backup and recovery
Skills
- Five years of progressive database query language experience (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MS-SQL)
- Three years hands-on relational DBMS experience and at least two large-organization database projects
- Hands-on SQL Server administration, performance monitoring, patch management and database security
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II
- One of the following CE: Oracle OCP DB 19+; MCSA SQL 2016 DBA; OCP SA; OCI Foundations 2020; or MS Azure DBAA+
