[Remote] KIP Spring 2027 - Student Fellow (Research and Analysis) - Empire Center for Public Policy

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Empire Center is seeking a Student Fellow to support research and analysis on public policy issues. The fellow will work with researchers on projects and may author a report or other publication sharing their findings.

Responsibilities

• The Empire Center’s student fellows are paired with Empire Center researchers whose focuses include taxes, government transparency, education, energy and healthcare
• Student fellows will learn analysis skills and apply them on important projects with the goal of being named author on an Empire Center report or other publication sharing their findings

Skills

• Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates
• Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Extremely strong attention to detail
• A proven record of working independently
