Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CyberCoders is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Database Architect & Engineer to build and own the data foundation for an AI-driven platform. The role combines hands-on data architecture and engineering with responsibility for production pipelines, data quality, governance, and AI-ready data structures.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise data architecture, including data models, warehouses, integrations, and governed data services
- Design and manage data platforms using Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Python
- Build scalable ELT pipelines and integrations with CRM, financial, document, and third-party data sources
- Establish data governance, quality controls, lineage, and security standards
- Design data structures optimized for AI applications, analytics, search, and retrieval
- Partner closely with software architecture and engineering teams to define shared data contracts
- Lead AI-assisted data delivery practices and review agent-generated data solutions
Skills
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating enterprise data platforms in production

- Experience building scalable analytical and operational data solutions
- Strong understanding of security, access controls, lineage, and compliance

- Experience with financial, investment, private equity, or corporate finance data
- Familiarity with document extraction, AI/LLM applications, RAG, or vector search technologies
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar tools
- Knowledge of SOC 2 or other compliance frameworks
- Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
