[Remote] DBS Marketing Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NFP Corp is hiring a Marketing Intern to support Diversified Brokerage Services’ marketing team. The role contributes to social media, digital content, advisor communications, events, marketing campaigns, and engagement analytics in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the creative team in planning, developing, and coordinating social media content
• Monitor key insurance carrier updates and prepare clear, timely internal notifications for the firm
• Assist with the development, editing, and distribution of advisor newsletters, promotions, and other marketing communications
• Support the planning and execution of special events, including advisor training events
• Use available sales and marketing resources to boost engagement across key social media platforms, including LinkedIn
• Help maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and content schedules
• Collaborate with marketing and sales team members on campaigns and other special projects
• Track basic engagement results and provide recommendations for improving future content and promotions

Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with careful attention to grammar, accuracy, and detail
• Experience with LinkedIn and other prominent social media channels
• Interest in content development, digital marketing, event coordination, and advisor communications
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fully remote environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications is required
• Experience with creative tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud is also needed
• Professional, collaborative, organized, and eager to learn
• Familiarity with email marketing or social media management tools
