[Remote] Director, Consumer Analytics & Business Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Collectors is a technology company providing grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales services for collectibles worldwide. The Director, Consumer Analytics & Business Operations will lead the analytics strategy and roadmap for PSA Consumer Grading, oversee measurement and business operations, manage two directors, and translate data into strategic recommendations for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for PSA Grading Analytics and Business Operations; own the measurement and instrumentation across these areas
• Operate as a player-coach: produce hands-on, high-leverage analysis while managing and developing two direct reports
• Partner with Data, Pricing, Product, and Finance to define key metrics and measurement frameworks that matter most to the business
• Lead deep-dive analyses that inform strategy, synthesizing findings into clear recommendations for executive and board audiences
• Identify and drive process improvements across the analytics and business operations functions
• Set the bar for analytical rigor and speed — establishing best practices for reporting, forecasting, and experimentation, and leveraging AI to accelerate insights

Skills

• 8+ years in business analytics, product analytics, or consulting (ideally in a D2C business) with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record developing talent and leading a team of analysts
• Skilled communicator who can distill complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
• Strategic thinker with a bias for action and strong business judgment
• Expert in SQL and data abstraction, with fluency in BI/visualization tools like Tableau or Lightdash
• AI-forward, with hands-on experience using tools like Claude to speed up analysis, reporting, and daily workflows
• A Master's in a quantitative field is a bonus
• Dbt experience a plus
• Ideally integrating AI directly into data/BI tooling
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
