[Remote] Director of Business Development

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CDC Global Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an unnamed, mission-driven organization that provides laboratory testing services to the biologics, cell therapy and healthcare sectors. The role focuses on winning new corporate business, growing existing accounts and partnering with internal teams to deliver service and sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and win new business opportunities to expand the customer base
• Act as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships
• Develop strategic account plans with clear growth goals and KPIs for each client
• Hold regular client meetings to review satisfaction, identify emerging needs and offer solutions
• Work with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations
• Use market research, data and analytics to identify trends and revenue opportunities
• Keep up to date on industry regulations and service capabilities to advise clients effectively

Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally in laboratory, biomedical or healthcare services
• Knowledge of donor screening, microbiology testing and cell therapy testing
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, ISO and OSHA regulated environments
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM
• Valid US driver's licence
• Master's
• LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification
