The role leads operational planning, resource allocation, workflow improvement, performance monitoring, risk management, and reporting while supporting team development and scalable global operations.

Responsibilities

• The Director Operations Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational strategy and execution across multiple projects and programs
• This role includes leading the planning and coordination of operational processes, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that project and program objectives are met on time and within budget
• The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, implement performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery
• Daily activities involve monitoring operational KPIs, managing risks and dependencies, aligning operations with organizational goals, and reporting on outcomes to senior leadership
• The role also requires cultivating a culture of accountability, supporting team development, and contributing to the scalable growth of Axion Digital Ventures’ global operations

Skills

• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills with experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing processes across complex, multi-disciplinary teams
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Program Management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and oversee end-to-end delivery
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and support data-driven decision-making
• Candidates should possess Budgeting and financial management skills to plan, monitor, and optimize operational expenditures and resource allocations
• Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role, ideally within technology, consulting, or innovation-focused environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and geographies
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting, using digital tools to coordinate and drive outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma)
