[Remote] Engineering Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vector Power is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects. The role manages project scope, deliverables, budgets, resources, teams, client communications, quality assurance, safety, and project closeout, with significant field work and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and facilitate the implementation of projects in accordance with project scope, deliverables, and goals
• Utilize project management tools
• Set expectations and hold employees accountable for assigned tasks and milestone goals
• Define project tasks and resource requirements in the development of a Project Narrative
• Assemble, coordinate, and provide direction to project staff
• Manage project budget and resource allocation
• Communicate with clients on project deliverables, schedules, and scope of work
• Track and report on project deliverables to management
• Provide direction and support to project teams
• Maintain the highest level of quality assurance and safety
• Consistently monitor and report on progress of project to all stakeholders defining project progress, problems, and solutions
• Complete Project evaluations and assessment of results at project close out
• Significant field work and oversight in the field may be required

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Associates Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent experience
• Project management or project lead experience
• Strong knowledge of industrial power systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Strong commitment to client service
• Ability to travel as required
• You must hold a valid driver's license and not require high-risk insurance or have provisional driving restrictions
