The Tendering & Proposal Specialist develops competitive proposals by evaluating tender requirements, preparing quotations, coordinating cross-functional inputs, managing bid schedules, and ensuring compliant, high-quality submissions.
Responsibilities
- Review tender documents and identify customer requirements, scope, and expectations
- Develop accurate and competitive quotations using cost analysis and market benchmarks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical, commercial, and operational inputs
- Manage tender schedules and coordinate activities to ensure timely, high-quality submissions
- Evaluate bid opportunities and support bid/no-bid decision-making processes
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to bids, contracts, and cost estimates
- Maintain compliant documentation and perform quality reviews throughout the proposal process
- Build positive customer relationships by clarifying requirements and supporting a seamless bid experience
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tendering, bid management, proposal development, or quotation preparation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical, commercial, and market data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and tendering or CRM platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
