[Remote] Equity Accounting Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infoblox is seeking an Equity Accounting Manager to own recurring equity accounting and related financial reporting. The role will provide technical accounting analysis for equity transactions and lead the transition to a comprehensive equity accounting and administration platform in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring equity accounting and reporting processes
• Evaluate and account for equity award modifications and other changes under U.S. GAAP
• Draft technical accounting position papers and related accounting for equity modifications
• Coordinate with valuation specialists and other stakeholders on fair value models; assess and document changes in assumptions
• Partner with HR and Total Rewards to evaluate, select, implement, and transition to a comprehensive equity accounting and administration platform capable of handling increasingly complex equity transactions for our growing business
• Lead data migration, system configuration, control design, process documentation, user acceptance testing, and training related to the equity platform transition

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of equity accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, or related public accounting experience
• Public accounting experience working with publicly filed companies
• CPA required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 718, as well as familiarity with SEC requirements
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Commitment to detail and quality and willingness to learn the business as well as challenging accounting concepts
• Strong managerial and mentorship skills with an ability to succinctly summarize and communicate upwards
• Proficiency with Accounting ERP, reporting, and equity platform software such as Oracle, Active Disclosure and Fidelity Equity
