[Remote] Export/Import Compliance Analyst (Remote) Eastern Time hours

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HEPCO, Inc. is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking an Export/Import Compliance Analyst to support its Global Trade team. The role manages export and import authorizations and compliance, maintains related records and tracking tools, and supports legal matters, audits, assessments, and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and administer required export and import authorizations
• Coordinate export and import activities in accordance with company policies and U.S. government regulations
• Review documentation to determine compliance with U.S. export and import regulations
• Maintain files and records related to investigations, potential noncompliance matters, compliance requests, and disclosures
• Track legal and compliance matters, deadlines, records, audits, assessments, and investigations
• Create and maintain effective tracking tools
• Support projects involving legal matters, audits, assessments, and investigations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Global Trade Director

Skills

• Experience with export trade licensing, export compliance, or import compliance
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: + International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) + Export Administration Regulations (EAR) + U.S. import or customs regulations
• Experience managing legal or compliance-related tasks, files, deadlines, and records
• Experience creating and maintaining tracking tools
• Project management experience related to legal matters, audits, assessments, or investigations
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet established deadlines
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling assigned responsibilities
