[Remote] Finance and Operations

The Finance and Operations professional supports the company’s financial health and efficiency through financial analysis, accounting, reporting, and operational coordination.

Responsibilities

• The professional in this role will be responsible for financial analysis, managing financial statements, and accounting tasks
• They will also be involved in operational activities that support the business's financial health and efficiency
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders will be a crucial part of the role
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Coordinate accounting, accounts payable/receivable and other finance processes
• Manage premium, commission and revenue reporting and reconciliations
• Support regulatory, insurer and management reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and other service providers
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets and forecasts
• Support operational processes across underwriting, policy administration and portfolio reporting
• Work cross-functionally with underwriting and business development teams

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 2-7 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in managing Financial Statements and Accounting tasks
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience with financial software and reporting tools
• Ability to work independently and in remote settings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
