[Remote] Financial Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SMS is seeking a Financial Analyst / Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the financial operations of its BIM contract. The role includes project planning, forecasting and cost tracking, financial reporting, risk mitigation, and collaboration with executives and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Planning, executing, and monitoring our BIM projects financial operations
• Develop comprehensive project plans, define objectives, milestones, and deliverables, and manage project from initiation to closure
• Create forecast expenditures, track costs, and ensure projects remain within financial limits
• Prepare financial reports, analyze project performance, and work closely with the SMS CFO
• Identify financial risks and work with CFO to implement mitigation strategies compliance with organizational policies
• Work closely with CFO, Controller, and COO, as well as vendors to ensure project alignment and stakeholder concerns

Skills

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ Years of experience in financial project management, finance operations, or consulting roles
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Project management expertise, including familiarity with tools like MS Project, Microsoft Dynamics, Unanet, and expertise in MS Products, particularly Word and Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial data and propose solutions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Must be a US Citizen
