Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prestige Staffing is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications. The role involves developing new features, integrating front-end components with server-side functionality, reviewing code, supporting deployments, optimizing performance, and maintaining existing applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using modern web technologies, ensuring responsive and scalable interfaces
- Collaborate with back-end teams to integrate APIs and optimize functionality
- Build and maintain a robust front-end toolchain for consistent development practices
- Translate mockups and wireframes into functional, user-friendly web interfaces
- Optimize web performance for speed and scalability
- Support ongoing maintenance and feature enhancements of web applications
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
- Strong experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks, and consuming REST APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
