Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Academian Inc is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-quality web applications using a modern TypeScript-based technology stack. The role spans frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, testing, CI/CD, secure authentication, database architecture, and collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and REST APIs
- Develop scalable and reusable frontend components using React, TSX, and Vite
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, middleware, and database solutions
- Work with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Docker, and Pulumi
- Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Vitest and Playwright
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using SSO, SAML, OAuth, and RBAC
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Work with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL and contribute to scalable, multi-tenant architectures
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical planning, and mentoring
Skills
- 7+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and modern web applications
- Experience with AWS cloud services, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices
- Strong knowledge of databases such as DynamoDB and PostgreSQL
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and secure application development
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub Actions, monorepos, and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with Pulumi, Liquibase, Figma, serverless architectures, observability, and Agile/Scrum
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical architecture decisions
