Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. hyrUP is partnering with a private investment firm seeking a junior Fund Administrator / Accountant. The role combines fund accounting and operations, including processing wires and investor distributions, supporting close and reconciliations, and communicating with investors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process wires and investor distributions -- a significant portion of the role
- Support general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation
- Communicate professionally with investors regarding transactions and related inquiries
- Help keep accounting and fund administration processes organized and timely
Skills
- A degree in Accounting or a strong accounting background with ~1-2 years of experience
- Strong communication skills and a polished, professional approach to investor interactions
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Comfort handling sensitive financial information and time-sensitive transactions
- Experience with a fund administrator, venture capital firm, or investment firm is a plus
