[Remote] Generative AI Engineer
Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BrothersTech is seeking a Generative AI Engineer Intern to join its AI team. The role focuses on developing and testing applications powered by generative AI and large language models, including prompt engineering, RAG applications, chatbots, AI agents, and workflow automation. The intern will also evaluate AI outputs, process data with Python, document experiments, and collaborate with technical professionals.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing applications powered by Generative AI and LLMs Work with large language models and AI APIs Develop and test effective prompts for different use cases Assist in building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications Work with documents, text, and other unstructured data Assist in developing AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants Integrate AI models into applications using APIs Experiment with different models, prompts, and parameters Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, relevance, and consistency Assist in building AI agents and workflow automation Write Python scripts for data processing and AI application development Document experiments, prompts, models, and results Use Git/GitHub for version control Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and AI professionals Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python
- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI fundamentals
- Basic understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Familiarity with APIs and JSON
- Understanding of basic prompt engineering concepts
- Knowledge of data structures and programming fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and willingness to learn
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering , or a related field
- Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or other LLM APIs
- Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Understanding of RAG architectures
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma
- Knowledge of embeddings and semantic search
- Basic experience with Hugging Face
- Familiarity with AI agents and tool/function calling
- Knowledge of FastAPI or Flask is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms is a plus
