[Remote] Global Account Director Job Details | DSV

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DSV is a global transport and logistics company providing air, sea, and road transportation and storage services. The Global Account Director will manage and grow key global accounts by developing account strategies, driving revenue and profitability, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading account management coordination across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead global alignment of the account management structure for a specific account portfolio, across multiple regions, communicate and coordinate the global strategy for each account
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at assigned global accounts
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within assigned accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of customer issues
• Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV management
• Conduct regular account planning and review meetings with the team
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is required
• * Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industry
• * Experience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is required
• * Experience working in a multinational corporation is required
• * Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
• * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• * Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• * Strong leadership and team management skills
• * Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• * Fluency in English is required
• * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
• * Master's degree in business or a related field is preferred
• * Proficiency in other languages is a plus
• * Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is preferred
