Remote Position

[Remote] Growth Product Manager (Senior to Staff)

🌍 Remote Β· United States πŸ’Ό Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DistroKid is hiring a Growth Product Manager to own member growth end to end, connecting product and marketing across the customer funnel. The role sets growth strategy and priorities, builds measurement frameworks, and leads data-informed experiments to help artists discover, use, and stay with DistroKid.

Responsibilities

  • Own member growth, the growth strategy, and the prioritized backlog that moves it, and build the measurement framework the company uses to size and evaluate growth bets
  • Navigate the full funnel to achieve our growth goals, including acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, reactivation, and referrals
  • Set the standard for how we run experiments end to end: hypothesis, instrumentation, analysis, iteration, and knowing when to stop
  • Use AI tooling to compress the loop from idea to shipped experiment, multiplying what a small, nimble team can ship
  • Keep the executive team clear on what you're doing, why, and what you're trading off
  • Bring what you've learned on the consumer growth teams you've worked on (and keep learning from the best ones), and adapt it to how artists find and use DistroKid
  • Raise the growth bar across the company, helping PMs and marketers surface and clear their own growth blockers
  • Use and iterate on the artist tools and promo assets we already have to build organic and viral growth loops

Skills

  • 7+ years in product, including 5+ years working directly in growth
  • 3+ years owning a growth number (paying members, conversion, retention, or self-serve revenue) and the metrics that drive it, at a high-growth consumer or subscription business
  • Experience across several parts of the funnel (acquisition, conversion, activation, engagement, retention and churn), not just one step
  • You've set growth strategy yourself. You found the opportunities, made the calls, and can point to the numbers that moved because of it
  • You conduct experiments at scale, pull your own data, and know the difference between a real result and noise
  • You've used AI tools to get real growth or productivity gains, not just experimented with them
  • You take rough, half-formed ideas from across the company and turn them into plans a team is excited to perform
  • You've seen enough consumer and subscription growth to arrive with informed views on where the opportunity is, and you change them when the data tells you to
  • You make complicated things simple and explain them well, including the trade-offs
  • Familiarity with lifecycle and martech tooling
  • Experience designing and enhancing personalized surfaces (and a clear sense of when personalization earns its complexity and when it doesn't)

Benefits

  • Retirement plans (401k, SIPP, RRSP, etc.)
  • Health insurance
  • Generous paid time off
  • Parental leave
  • Home office allowance
  • Flexible work schedules
  • Paid and discounted subscriptions
  • Regular engagement activities
  • Remote work in the United States and United Kingdom
