Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CDW is seeking an IBM Sterling B2Bi / Secure Proxy Integration Architect to lead a file transfer modernization initiative. The role focuses on migration architecture from Axway MFT to IBM Sterling platforms, technical issue resolution, stakeholder engagement, and migration governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and technical assessments related to IBM Sterling B2Bi, SSP, and MFT environments
• Analyze and troubleshoot authentication, routing, and connectivity challenges involving secure file transfer solutions
• Evaluate current-state Axway configurations and develop migration strategies to IBM Sterling platforms
• Design phased migration and cutover approaches that minimize risk and business disruption
• Investigate complex technical issues impacting migration efforts
• Determine whether identified challenges stem from:
• Develop and present alternative solutions, workarounds, and mitigation strategies
• Facilitate technical working sessions with client teams, delivery partners, and IBM stakeholders
• Translate highly technical findings into clear recommendations for business and executive audiences
• Create documentation outlining risks, assumptions, impacts, and remediation options
• Support escalation discussions with IBM product and support teams when product deficiencies or capability gaps are identified
• Produce architecture diagrams, design documentation, migration runbooks, and technical recommendations
• Document integration dependencies and migration sequencing plans
• Assist with risk management, issue tracking, and executive reporting

Skills

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise integration and managed file transfer solutions
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
• IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi)
• IBM Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP)
• Strong understanding of:
• SFTP
• SSH key authentication
• Certificate-based authentication
• Secure file transfer architectures
• Network security principles
• Experience designing and executing MFT migrations from platforms such as:
• Axway
• GoAnywhere
• MOVEit
• IBM Sterling
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience leading technical discussions with software vendors and executive stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
