Bizoforce seeks a Developer Platform/Product Project Manager to lead platform and product development initiatives from design through delivery. The role manages project timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting software development practices and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of platform/product solutions
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope
- Utilize project management methodologies to track progress and mitigate risks
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and project management
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical and project management issues
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and methodologies
Skills
- Experience Required: 10-15 years of experience in software development and project management
- Strong Project Management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly in platform/product environments
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10 15 years of experience in software development and project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools
- Understanding of data management and database technologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
