Remote-IT PROJECT MANAGER | P&C INSURANCE

Must-Have Requirements: 7+ years of recent IT Project Management experience Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry experience Proven Waterfall project delivery experience. This is NOT an Agile/Scrum PM role. Experience managing software development, application development, and systems integration projects Advanced Microsoft Project / Project Server experience, including effort-driven, auto-scheduled project plans Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) Proven delivery of multiple IT projects from initiation through completion, with budgets of $150K+ Strong project financial management, including forecasting, budget reconciliation, resource planning, and tracking actuals Vendor management experience, including requesting, negotiating, and executing SOWs Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and matrixed teams What the PM Will Be Doing: This PM will manage approximately 3 concurrent IT projects, typically lasting 6–8 months, supporting insurance applications, system integrations, software enhancements, and related technology initiatives. The role is highly focused on hands-on project planning, schedule management, financial forecasting, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication. Important Screening Notes: Please do not send candidates whose experience is primarily Agile/Scrum, infrastructure-only, or general business project management. We need PMs who have personally owned Waterfall IT project delivery, built detailed MS Project schedules, managed project budgets, and worked within the P&C insurance industry.
