[Remote] Java Full Stack Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Paladin Consulting is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer. The role develops and sustains front-end and back-end web applications, contributes throughout the solution lifecycle, and supports quality, automation, and deployment in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain web applications across front-end and back-end frameworks using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with teams, mentor junior engineers, and uphold high coding standards in a regulated environment
• Engage in all phases of solution development, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business processes
• Promote and implement automated processes, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines
• Conduct code reviews and validate software for quality assurance

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years in SaaS product development or FDA-regulated medical device settings
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Postgres, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Experience in agile methodologies and remote teamwork
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Git/Gitlab, and experience in Behavior Driven Development
• AWS experience is advantageous
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming is beneficial
• Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and AI tools in engineering is a plus
• Background in biomedical, healthcare, or regulated environments is advantageous
