Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is a national distributor of maintenance products serving the fleet maintenance industry. The Key Account Manager II will manage and grow strategic national accounts, build customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and implement customer-focused solutions that drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage large national accounts and achieve or exceed revenue objectives
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and economic buyers within customer organizations
- Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying customer needs and presenting solutions that improve efficiency, inventory control, and overall business performance
- Create and execute strategic account plans that support customer retention, growth, and satisfaction
- Partner closely with Marketing, Inside Sales, and other internal teams to support customer initiatives, product launches, promotions, and growth opportunities
- Analyze sales trends, customer activity, and market opportunities to develop recommendations and growth strategies
- Monitor account performance, maintain accurate customer records, and manage major opportunities through the sales process
- Assist with annual sales and expense planning, monitoring performance against established goals and budgets
Skills
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three or more years of B2B sales experience required, preferably in an outside sales environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for account growth
