About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and highly skilled Lead UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic, remote-first team. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and interface design for our innovative digital products. As the Lead UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for guiding the design process from concept to launch, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user interfaces. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI kits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and user stories. Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior designers. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders effectively. Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices. Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle. Ensure design consistency and quality across all product touchpoints.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, emphasizing user-centered design principles and visual aesthetics. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Experience conducting user research and usability testing. Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture. Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience working in an agile development environment. This is a remote position, requiring strong self-discipline and remote work proficiency.
