[Remote] Litigation Operations Lead

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Spring Oaks Capital, LLC is hiring a Litigation Operations Lead to provide hands-on workflow and advanced litigation support for its legal recovery efforts. The role manages trial and witness support, business-records review and certification, contested litigation workflows, and process improvement while coordinating with the team, management, General Counsel, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned litigation and business records activities while coordinating daily workflow and serving as a liaison between the team and the Head of Litigation Operations
• Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, established procedures, and quality expectations; identify workflow gaps and recommend practical process improvements
• Provide witness testimony in the company’s trial matters across the United States, including remote and in-person appearances, and coordinate witness and back-up witness requests
• Serve as the primary company resource for depositions involving legal network activity
• Serve as Custodian of Records by reviewing official business records, responding to subpoenas, and certifying document authenticity
• Submit media requests for documentation not provided at placement, including business record affidavits, Bills of Sale, Chains of Title, and other records required for vendor action
• Review and approve settlements in accordance with assigned authority limits
• Review and approve discovery packages for contested litigation matters, monitor incoming counterclaims under the supervision of General Counsel, and coordinate with General Counsel and vendor network partners to support accurate, complete, and timely responses
• Provide primary support for escalations related to trials and suit actions
• Participate in departmental planning and project initiatives under the direction of the Head of Litigation Operations

Skills

• Paralegal or equivalent litigation support experience required
• Experience in contested litigation, trial and docket preparation, business records, and collections disputes required or strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Trial witness, subject-matter expert, workflow coordination, or team lead experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel, preferred
