ConnectHealth is a locum tenens staffing agency seeking a Locum Tenens Physician Recruiter to source, recruit, and place physicians nationwide. The role manages candidate pipelines and placements while partnering with healthcare facilities and building relationships with providers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified physicians for locum tenens assignments
- Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective candidates
- Screen candidates for skills, experience, and fit
- Partner with facilities to understand and meet staffing needs
- Present candidates and manage the placement process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers and clients
- Keep current with market trends in locum tenens recruiting
Skills
- 2 years of full-cycle locum tenens physician recruiting experience within a staffing agency
- Understanding of licensing, credentialing, privileging, and assignment logistics
- Proven production history with consistent monthly placements and revenue generation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong time management
- Experience working with both direct facility relationships and VMS/MSP accounts
- Candidate rate negotiation
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a high-volume desk independently
