Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pilatesology is hiring a Marketing Assistant to help grow its reach and online community. The role supports the Marketing Director with marketing strategy, social media and email campaigns, content creation, events, partnerships, and publicity.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing Director with big picture initiatives and goals
- Research new marketing opportunities, trends, and strategies to help grow Pilatesology
- Strategize ways to grow the business and expand into new markets
- Develop and execute Pilatesology’s social media content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
- Assist with creating digital ad content and, as skills develop, support paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google Ads
- Stay on top of trends and help develop creative concepts and content ideas that grow engagement, reach, and brand awareness
- Maintain monthly social media KPI reports and provide an overview of social performance, including successes, challenges, and opportunities
- Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement and help foster an active, positive online community
- Plan and run social media photo and video shoots
- Assist the Marketing Director with creating, building, testing, and scheduling email campaigns in ActiveCampaign
- Support campaign strategy, content ideas, and audience segmentation
- Research & implement emerging technologies that could improve marketing and content creation
- Support the planning and promotion of conferences, workshops & live events
- Help with event logistics, promotional materials, social media and email communications
- Coordinate social media content and campaigns, communication, gifting and other logistics
- Identify potential partners and relationships that will expand our reach
- Build relationships and create winning partnership campaigns
- Identify & contact key media outlets for promotion
- Develop stories for media spots that create intrigue and excitement about Pilatesology
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, content creation, or a related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram
- Experience creating social content, especially short-form video
- Strong writing skills and an eye for what makes content engaging
- Creative thinker who enjoys coming up with new ideas and experimenting with different types of content
- Comfortable using Canva and/or other content creation tools
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Curious about new technology and excited to learn and experiment
- Comfortable learning new platforms and software, including ActiveCampaign
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- You're creative, curious, and always noticing new trends, sounds, formats, and content ideas
- You have an authentic voice and critical thinking skills so you're not relying on AI to deliver your work
- What matters most is that you're excited about social media & marketing, have a good creative eye, and are eager to learn
- Video editing experience
- Photography or basic videography skills
- Experience with Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Experience with ActiveCampaign or another email marketing platform
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting
- Knowledge or experience in Pilates, fitness, or wellness is a plus, but not required
- Interest in Pilates, fitness, or wellness is a plus!
