[Remote] Marketing Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Soho Square Solutions is recruiting for an unnamed client seeking a Marketing and Sales Data Analyst. The role analyzes B2B marketing and sales data, develops reports and dashboards, and communicates actionable insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, collate, and analyze marketing and sales data across various B2B systems
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate data-driven hypotheses
• Analyze marketing datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and business opportunities
• Prepare accurate and insightful reports for executive and leadership teams
• Communicate findings, analysis results, and project progress to stakeholders through reports and documentation
• Collaborate with third-party data vendors to assess, access, and integrate firmographic, technographic, and demographic information
• Design, develop, and automate dashboards to improve visibility into marketing data performance
• Build and execute ad-hoc reports to address business questions and support data-driven decision-making

Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst in an enterprise environment, leveraging Marketo, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, particularly Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics
• Solid understanding of B2B sales and marketing practices, principles, KPIs, and data types within large, complex organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with data platforms such as Hadoop and Databricks
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets
• Familiarity with logical data architecture and cloud-based data solutions
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong understanding of data quality control, data integration, and validation processes
• Experience with data enrichment processes and best practices
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Previous experience working remotely or in a distributed team environment
