Remote Mental Health Counselor - W2 Full-Time (Ohio License Required)

• Employment Type: Full-Time W2 Role
• Compensation: $31 per hour rate — $64,480 annual salary
• Workload: 30 counseling hours per week. During down times, the clinical team will have dedicated internal tasks and projects to work on.
• Workplace: Fully remote from anywhere in Ohio.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual counseling services to clients navigating mental health and emotional challenges.
• Support individuals experiencing substance use concerns through compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Deliver prevention-focused and goal-oriented therapy.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with community partners, treatment providers, and placement agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Manage a minimum caseload as assigned by the clinical team.

What We're Looking For

• Active Ohio mental health license (REQUIRED). Applicants without an Ohio license will not be considered.
• Prior experience in mental health counseling or related clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of community mental health resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients.
