[Remote] Network Security Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MDP Global is working with a growing managed services provider to support large-scale Fortinet security offerings. The Senior Network Security Engineer will serve as a technical resource for strategic accounts, design and manage network security solutions, lead network refresh projects, and advise clients throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core technical resource for the MSP's largest and most strategic accounts
• Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Fortinet security offerings, including FortiGate, FortiNAC, and FortiCloud
• Lead network refresh projects spanning Cisco routing & switching, Fortinet switches, and Fortinet wireless access points
• Architect and implement network security and firewall solutions across client environments
• Scope and estimate project work, including anticipated time on-site to configure a new firewall and other network refresh engagements
• Write and contribute to statements of work (SoWs) for client engagements
• Support integrated network security and infrastructure projects alongside the Microsoft practice
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout project delivery

Skills

• Deep, hands-on Fortinet expertise across FortiGate, FortiNAC, and FortiCloud
• Strong background in Cisco routing & switching (R&S)
• Experience with large-scale network refresh projects (switches, wireless AP, network security)
• Comfort scoping and estimating project work, and contributing to SoWs
• MSP experience strongly preferred
• Microsoft infrastructure/security background a strong plus
• Fortinet NSE certifications — heavily preferred
