Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CDW seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer to support and maintain a complex enterprise network environment. The role focuses on multi-vendor network operations, security and authentication, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain enterprise networks utilizing Arista, Cisco, and Juniper
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues
- Manage IT support queues, network access requests, and configuration changes
- Administer and troubleshoot Aruba ClearPass, including wireless authentication and TACACS
- Support Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Perform network upgrades, patching, and infrastructure maintenance
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve escalated incidents
Skills
- Strong enterprise network engineering experience with Arista, Cisco, and/or Juniper
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with Aruba ClearPass, wireless authentication, and TACACS
- Hands-on experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting multi-vendor network environments
- Ability to independently manage network incidents, access requests, and system upgrades
- Multicast networking experience
- Microsoft Exchange experience
- Relevant networking certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent)
