Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The direct client, whose name is not provided, is seeking an Oracle SCM Cloud Functional Consultant. The role leads Oracle SCM Cloud requirements, solution design, and implementation, with a focus on order management, global order promising, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation activities for Oracle SCM Cloud, with a focus on:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand supply chain challenges and recommend best-practice Oracle Cloud solutions
- Design end-to-end order-to-fulfillment processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiencies
- Configure, prototype, test, and deploy Oracle SCM Cloud solutions while adhering to Oracle best practices and fit-to-standard principles
- Analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into scalable functional designs and solution options
- Support customer workshops, process assessments, gap analysis, and future-state process design
Skills
- The ideal candidate will have deep supply chain domain knowledge, extensive experience delivering Oracle SCM Cloud transformation programs, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, outcome-oriented solutions for manufacturing organizations
- • 11+ years of overall Supply Chain and IT experience
- • 6-8 years of hands-on Oracle SCM Cloud experience
- • Hands-on experience delivering at least 2-3 Oracle SCM Cloud implementation or transformation projects
- • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including Order-to-Cash and Fulfillment
- Ability to translate customer challenges into measurable business outcomes
- Strong consulting mindset with a focus on value realization
- Capability to influence solution decisions and drive best-practice adoption
- Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively
- Customer-focused approach with strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience working with Manufacturing industry customers
