Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Data Capital Incorporation is seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Database Administrator to support a major Oracle EBS upgrade from R12.1.3 to R12.2.14 or the latest supported release. The role focuses on Oracle database administration, EBS technical upgrades, patching, performance, security, and troubleshooting across SCM and Financials modules.
Responsibilities
- Support a major Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) upgrade from R12.1.3 to R12.2.14 or the latest supported release
- Understand module dependencies and support upgrade testing and troubleshooting
Skills
- 8–10 years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience
- At least one full-cycle Oracle EBS technical upgrade from R12.1.x to R12.2.x
- Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 architecture
- Strong knowledge of ADOP / Online Patching
- Experience with WebLogic Server (WLS) and EBS dual file systems
- Strong Oracle Database experience with 11g, 12c, and/or 19c
- Oracle Database installation and configuration
- Database patching
- RMAN backup/recovery
- Database cloning
- Performance tuning
- Troubleshooting
- Capacity planning
- Experience with Oracle EBS technical upgrades and patching
- Experience with BI Publisher and Oracle APEX
- Knowledge of Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU) and database security hardening
- Experience with Oracle RAC and/or Data Guard
- Working knowledge of EBS SCM and Financials modules
- Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.14 or later
- Experience supporting SSO/IAM integration with Oracle EBS
- Experience with global, multi-ledger, and multi-site EBS environments
- Familiarity with Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or similar implementation metho
