Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Allstate is an insurance company focused on protecting families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. The Platform Lead Consultant will support health technology platforms through solution design, Azure modernization, API integrations, DevOps readiness, data migration, compliance, and operational stability. The role works hands-on with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure and implementable platform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support platform solution design and integration strategies
- Perform hands-on API validation and testing (e.g., Postman)
- Assist in Azure migration planning, environment readiness, and cutover execution
- Coordinate DevOps readiness:
- Repo access, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes
- Support data migration planning and validation (including PHI/PII considerations)
- Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security, and integrations
- Collaborate with engineering to translate business requirements into implementable solutions
- Produce technical documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder updates
Skills
- 7+ years progressive experience
- Hands-on API + integration experience
- Azure/cloud experience
- Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments)
- Ability to execute within platform delivery (not just architect)
- Strong communication + documentation skills
- Work directly with engineers (debug, validate, iterate)
- Communicate across technical and business stakeholders
- Document risks, decisions, and dependencies clearly
- .NET / C# / SQL / Cosmos DB
- Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, IaC tools
- API tools (Postman)
- Cloud/data migration and cutover activities
- Regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST)
- Microservices, event-driven architectures
- Vendor/platform integrations
- Emerging areas (Azure AI, OpenAI integrations)
