Remote Post-Production Content Editor

This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. While primarily remote, candidates must maintain consistent availability during standard business hours. Workload may vary week to week based on deadlines, and occasional weekend work or travel may be required.Work Setup:This position is primarily remote. Occasional travel may be required on an as-needed basis for select shoots, events, or collaborative production days.Boats Daily is seeking a Certified Content Creator with a strong focus on post-production and social-first editing. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming raw footage into engaging, platform-optimized content that captures attention and drives performance.You will work closely with our filmmakers, social media team, and leadership to edit, refine, and deliver high-quality content for both Boats Daily-owned and client social media accounts.Responsibilities Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedInTransform raw production footage into engaging, high-performing social contentApply color correction and basic color grading to maintain brand consistencyAdd captions, motion graphics, hooks, and pacing optimized for social retentionRepurpose long-form content into short-form clips and reelsOrganize, archive, and manage digital media assetsCollaborate with the Social Media Manager to align edits with campaign strategyMeet tight turnaround times while maintaining quality standardsRequired Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere ProExperience with Adobe Photoshop and graphic overlaysUnderstanding of social media editing trends and retention-focused storytellingAbility to edit in vertical and horizontal formatsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projectsClear communication and reliability in a remote environmentA high-performance computer capable of handling 4K video editing smoothlyReliable high-speed internet connection for large file transfersLicensed access to Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro required)Adequate storage solutions for handling large media files (external SSDs or equivalent recommended)Preferred Qualifications Experience editing within marine, luxury, or lifestyle industriesMotion graphics experience (After Effects a plus)Ability to color grade LOG footageFamiliarity with social analytics and performance trackingProfessional Expectations Demonstrates accountability and responsiveness in a remote work settingCommunicates clearly and professionally with team membersAccepts feedback constructively and implements revisions efficiently#J-18808-Ljbffr Apply To This Job
