Remote Principal Product Manager – Customer Zero Program Lead & AI Integration Champion – Driving Enterprise AI Adoption at brighthush
About brighthush
brighthush is a trailblazing AI‑driven integration platform that empowers businesses to connect their applications, data, and workflows with unprecedented speed and intelligence. Since its founding in 2011, brighthush has evolved into a high‑growth, inclusive tech company that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and a relentless focus on customer success. With a global footprint and a culture that celebrates curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning, brighthush is redefining how enterprises orchestrate their digital ecosystems.
As a remote‑first organization, brighthush empowers its teams to work from anywhere in the United States, fostering a culture built on trust, transparency, and high performance. Our people are our greatest asset, and we invest heavily in their professional growth, well‑being, and career advancement.
Why This Role Matters
The Customer Zero program is the heartbeat of brighthush’s product excellence. By using our own platform internally across go‑to‑market (GTM), customer experience (CX), and general & administrative (G&A) functions, we validate, refine, and showcase the true value of our solutions before they reach our customers. The Principal Product Manager for Customer Zero will own this critical initiative, turning internal adoption into a powerful narrative that drives external growth, informs the roadmap, and demonstrates the tangible impact of our AI‑powered capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Ownership & Strategic Vision – Own the Customer Zero program as a fully funded, high‑impact initiative. Define a clear roadmap, measurable outcomes, and an operating rhythm that aligns with competing priorities. Set the pace, articulate what success looks like, and keep momentum alive without external push.
- Internal Adoption & Feedback Loop – Champion the adoption of brighthush’s core products (agents, MCP, Ora/CLI, integrations) within GTM, CX, and G&A systems. Identify friction points proactively, surface hard‑to‑solve challenges, prioritize them, and shepherd them into the product roadmap in partnership with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and the product organization.
- AI‑First Champion – Leverage brighthush’s AI‑powered platform daily. Be an early adopter of new agentic capabilities, provide candid feedback on performance, and help define what “AI‑first” looks like in enterprise workflows. Your hands‑on experience becomes a critical part of the product improvement loop.
- Product Discipline & Delivery – Apply rigorous product discipline to every workstream: clear requirements, success criteria, and prioritization grounded in adoption and business value. Commit to realistic delivery dates by shipping the smallest viable version that delivers real value and iterating from there.
- Process Design & Execution – Operate in dual hats: design the underlying business processes and own the solution as a product manager. Own both the “how” and the “what” to ensure the final product delivers an outstanding experience.
- Governance & Security Trade‑offs – Balance user needs with security, privacy, and governance (RBAC, permissions, service accounts). Build prescriptive playbooks, governance patterns, reference architectures, and proof points that hold up in enterprise conversations.
- External Evangelist – Serve as the face of brighthush’s internal use. Present at flagship events, engage in key customer and prospect conversations, and package internal success stories into references that Sales and Marketing can leverage to close deals.
Essential Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross‑functional programs as a Principal individual contributor.
- Deep functional expertise in GTM and/or CX operations, including hands‑on experience with brighthush, brighthush, or equivalent platforms. Ability to design processes, not just manage backlogs.
- Demonstrated success running an internal‑as‑first‑customer (Customer Zero) program, dogfooding, or establishing a product function from scratch.
- Experience building and packaging reference stories, proof points, and playbooks that Sales and Marketing can use externally.
- Strong analytical mindset: use adoption, usage, and outcome data to prioritize, influence stakeholders, and detect early signs of issues.
- Executive presence and the ability to represent brighthush in boardrooms, client meetings, and industry events.
- Comfort with AI‑first or agentic products, and a genuine curiosity about the limits and possibilities of AI.
- Proven ability to ship the smallest version that delivers real value, iterate quickly, and recover gracefully from setbacks.
- Excellent communication skills: translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa.
- Strong influence skills: drive results through collaboration, not authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in SaaS, iPaaS, integration, or automation platforms.
- Hands‑on experience using the product you support internally.
- Close partnership with a CPO or product organization to influence a public roadmap.
- Experience with AI‑powered workflow automation and agentic capabilities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Thinking – Ability to see the big picture, ask “why” before “how,” and align program goals with company objectives.
- Data‑Driven Decision Making – Leverage metrics to prioritize, influence, and validate outcomes.
- Process Design – Translate business needs into scalable, repeatable processes.
- Stakeholder Management – Build alignment across engineering, Sales, Marketing, and executive teams.
- AI Literacy – Understand AI capabilities, limitations, and how to embed them into enterprise workflows.
- Communication & Storytelling – Craft compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
- Resilience & Adaptability – Thrive in ambiguity, recover quickly from setbacks, and keep momentum.
- Ownership & Accountability – Treat program challenges as your own and measure success by outcomes, not activity.
