[Remote] Product Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Thatch is hiring a Product Designer to create end-to-end experiences for businesses, employees, and brokers using its healthcare benefits products. The role owns product design from UX strategy through production, including shaping products, maintaining the design system and brand assets, and improving design standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and shape every part of the product development process, from idea inception to production
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, growth, product, sales, operations, and leadership to create incredible user experiences
• Develop and maintain the design system and brand assets we’ll use across the company
• Write design documentation and guidelines for internal audiences
• Iterate on and improve our design standards, tooling, and processes

Skills

• 4+ years of experience in product design roles
• Obsession with understanding and serving users and, ultimately, making their lives better
• Demonstrated first principle thinking and mastery of fundamental design principles
• Experience operating in ambiguous environments solving complex user problems
• Ability to balance blue sky creativity and dedication to craft with bias to action
• Ability to read and/or write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Background scaling high growth technology companies in the past
• Experience or interest in finance, healthcare, or benefits
