[Remote] Project Engineer - Natural Gas Design

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ENTRUST Solutions Group hires a Project Engineer to deliver natural gas distribution engineering solutions. The role leads mid-sized project design efforts, coordinates with stakeholders and design teams, reviews technical work, mentors junior engineers, and supports quality control and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will collaborate closely with project engineers, designers, municipalities, and utility stakeholders to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions for natural gas distribution projects
• You'll lead design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
• You’ll mentor junior engineers, coordinate with design teams, and deliver high-quality analyses and reviews
• You’ll engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, flag challenges to the Project Manager, and support business development
• Your role also includes reviewing drawings, participating in quality control, and driving process improvements—all while maintaining a strong focus on precision and efficiency

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry
• Experience in natural gas distribution design
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
