Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PHT Staffing LLC is recruiting for an undisclosed client seeking a QA Automation Engineer for data projects. The role focuses on automating and validating ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and database quality through SQL, Python, and end-to-end testing.
Skills
- 7+ years of QA/Test Automation experience, with significant experience in ETL/Data Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL Testing, Data Validation, Data Reconciliation, Data Migration, and Database Testing
- Strong experience testing ETL/ELT data pipelines and data warehouse solutions
- Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and data reconciliation
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for test automation, data validation, and scripting
- Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts
- Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data transformation rules, business rules, and data lineage
- Experience validating data across multiple databases and data sources
- Experience testing data integrations, transformations, batch jobs, and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data quality and data integrity testing
- Experience with regression, integration, end-to-end, and release validation testing
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios, checklists, and defect reports
- Experience with release sign-off and deployment readiness validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Any visa is fine
