[Remote] QA Engineer :: Remote :: Hot Requirement

The Software QA Engineer will help ensure application reliability, data accuracy, and product quality through software, database, API, and data integration testing, as well as defect management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, database, and API testing to ensure application quality and reliability
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate database records, data integrity, data transformations, and business rules
• Conduct API testing to validate endpoints, request and response payloads, status codes, error handling, and data consistency
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across source and target systems
• Support ETL testing and data integration testing to verify data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
• Validate data flows across applications, databases, and cloud-based data platforms
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports using JIRA/Xray or similar test management tools
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the software testing lifecycle
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
• Prepare test summary reports, communicate testing progress, and ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality

Skills

• Education- Required a Bachelor Degree And Equivalent
• We are looking for a skilled Software QA Engineer with strong experience in software quality assurance, database testing, API testing, and data validation
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL, test management tools such as JIRA/Xray, and exposure to ETL testing, data integration, and cloud-based data workflows
• Strong experience in software quality assurance and software testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with database testing, SQL queries, API testing, and data validation
• Good working knowledge of JIRA/Xray and test management processes
• Exposure to ETL testing, data integration, and cloud-based data workflows
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and defect management skills
• Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and defect life cycle
• Ability to prepare clear test documentation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
