Maybank Cambodia is hiring a Regional Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operational performance across assigned branches in Cambodia. The role focuses on branch efficiency, service quality, regulatory compliance, operational risk, process improvements, and coordination with branch managers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day operational performance across assigned branches in Cambodia
- Monitoring branch efficiency, service quality, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to support customer satisfaction and business growth
- Coordinating with branch managers and cross-functional teams, managing operational risk, and supporting rollout of new initiatives, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent standards across the region
Skills
- Experience in regional or multi-branch operations management
- Strong skills in process improvement, performance monitoring, and operational planning
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across diverse teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold internal controls
- Proven leadership capabilities, including coaching branch leaders and driving accountability
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field
- Preferably within banking or financial services
- Advanced qualifications are an advantage
- Familiarity with Cambodian banking regulations and local market dynamics is highly beneficial
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Khmer or other regional languages is an added advantage
